JIM DAVIS died December 12, 2016 at Tulsa, Oklahoma

Most of these photographs and this material has been contributed by Jim Davis who was housed at Pepperrell Air Force Base in the White Hills before moving to quarters at the Red Head radio receiver site a few miles to the northwest.

Jim had completed his basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX. and gone to technical school (radio) at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS. before shipping out aboard the troop ship, Elden H. Johnson, to Newfoundland in November 1953.

Jim pictured at the 760th AC&W Squadron, 9th A.D. (D) near Colville, WA. where he was stationed after leaving Newfoundland in November 1955. He completed his four year USAF enlistment there and was back at Tulsa, Oklahoma, his home-town, on January 4, 1957.
